If Russell Ackoff had given a TED Talk

Dr Russell Ackoff, (1919-2009) was widely recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on Systems Thinking. For more than 20 years he was professor of Systems Science at the Wharton School of business, and he was a lifelong friend of both Peter Drucker and W. E. Deming.

In these videos, Ackoff captures the essence of Systems Thinking as well as the distinguishing characteristics of “analysis of the parts” and “synthesis of the whole” – something akin to the “Sys” and the “Tao” in Sys-Tao.
